Katy Breeden pursues her lifelong interest and love of art in the small community of Kenefick, Texas. Working primarily in oils, she often combines her interest in Landscape and Portrait in scenes of Western art and in capturing moments in the lives of people. She has received numerous awards for her works in local shows, and, as a teacher, is very proud of the honors received by her students.

When not painting, Katy is an avid hybridizer of daylilies, applying her eye for color and form to develop new varieties of hemerocallis.
